This little 6 x 12 inch oil study captures the relentless violence as the pacific ocean pounds the Northern California Coast. Seagulls dash in and out of the breaking waves looking for a morsel. The sea heaves and churns with currents caused by underwater rocks and valleys. The sea is such a dynamic subject to capture in paint!
