Description

I rose early at 5:30 AM over the course of many days to capture the spectacular early morning sunrises over the Pacific Ocean as seen from the seacliffs north of Kīlauea Lighthouse. The Kīlauea Lighthouse is located on Kīlauea Point on the island of Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi in the Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge. The large waves are bbreaking on the outer edge of the fringing reef.
