Artist's Description

This little cove, like many others along the northern Pacific Coast, offers a safe haven for marine mammals where they can bask in the sun on the rocky beach at the end of the cove. The waters are calmer behind the protruding rocks and there are no predators like the Great White Sharks that patrol these waters.
