Artist's Description

This spectacular enclosed cove is one of many that can be found around the shores of Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada mountains. I captured this image while exploring among the huge boulders on the shore. Many of these rocks are over 20 feet above the water. The water is so clear and has a beautiful emerald green color in depths up to 50 feet.
