Description
Alpine Lake is painted from memories of my hikes in the high wilderness areas. I have taken many swims in such bone chilling waters to cool off from a vigorous hike. Alpine Lakes tend to be crystal clear and very cold and often full of trout! large boulders often line the lake shores due to the action of the thick winter ice that often forms and scrubs the shoreline.
