Artist's Description
The original has sold but prints are available.
This is one of my "Landscape Portraits" of a special place above the "Basin" in Franconia Notch, NH. It is the first falls that one comes to on the trail. The heavily speckled stone is a warm orange color similar to the coastal granite found in Gloucester, Massachusetts. USA

It is amazing how you control the medium..so precise..so much control over your brush strokes..our rendering of the rocks agains so lifelike ..the color and shadowing so well apply, ..I can almost feel the texture and porosity from them..as I am a sculptor ..I really appreciate the history from the earth in the making of each rock and reif, ..timeless beauty..you apply as much effort and dedication as Robert Bateman does in his animal painting and rocks too..wow!

Very nice oil paint and you did a great job on the rocks; as well as, the waterfalls. Keep creating beautiful artwork.
