Artist's Description
A remote cascade tumbles down the steep slopes of a mountain on the Feather River Canyon in Northern California. The water becomes a waterfall as it plunges over a cliff near the bottom of the ravine.
This image is the result of many hours spent digitally manipulating an original photograph to resemble a fine, detailed oil painting on linen canvas. The painterly effect is especially noticeable in the larger print sizes. I accept commissions for oil paintings based on my photography.
