Description
This was my backyard when I lived in Vermont years ago. The Tabor Branch of the Waits River was full of native brook trout and the water was refreshingly cold even in the hot summer months. I miss my beloved river, especially during the insufferable heat of summer in Northern California.
This image is the result of many hours spent digitally manipulating an original photograph to resemble a fine, detailed oil painting on linen canvas. The painterly effect is especially noticeable in the larger print sizes. I accept commissions for oil paintings based on my photography.
