Artist's Description

The original painting is available through my studio; Contact me for more information. This 12 x 24 inch oil painting is one in a series depicting moments in the lives of those who have enjoyed the sublime joy of walking long, deserted stretch of the seashore with a loved one. Low tide was chosen for the patterns of the diminishing waves as they roll forward on the wet sands and for the reflections of the sky and figures in the water. The long format was used to help capture the vastness of the sea.
