Many of us have fond memories of shuffling through the woods in late autumn. The forests of Vermont offered me many enjoyable hikes in the local hills and mountains. Evidence of long abandoned farms are still present in the form of old stone walls and gateways deep in the wilderness. Enjoy your walk!
