Artist's Description

A fishing boat cruises up the Noyo River from the open Pacific Ocean in Fort Bragg California, seeking safe harbor for the night. This dramatic photograph was taken from the dock as the boat came into the river channel. The exposure was perfect timing to capture the three quarter view of the boat against the setting sun. I waited patiently for this exact moment and took the exposure.
