Artist's Description
The last mellow light from the setting sun contrasts with the cool blues of the fresh snow. Tracks from the day's skiers mark the snow in the low light. This painting measures only 6 x 12 inches and is full of detail giving the illusion that the painting is actually much larger than it actually is. This painting is one of a series of works that capture my fond memories of 25 Vermont Winters when I skied down through snowy landscapes.
