The barren expanses of the Nevada desert have an inherent beauty. The empty expanse is sometimes relieved by a Joshua Tree, clinging to life in a most inhospitable climate. The Spring Mountains can be seen miles off in the distance. Wild borros roam through this desert, herds having survived their ancestors being abandoned over a century ago by prospectors.
