Description

I'm fond of these little birds, having saved a featherless baby Gold Finch from certain death after it had fallen from it's nest high in a tree. I raised it into a full adult bird. I painted this Goldfinch many years ago using gouache on Canson Mi-teintes paper. The painting was photographed using 35 mm slide film, the best of it's time. The image was actually improved by post processing the slide image.
