Remember shuffling your feet through the thick leaf litter on the forest floor in the autumn season? This oil painting depicts my memory of an old abandoned road that was near my home in East Topsham Village, Vermont, USA. The forest was full of maple trees that turned a vivid red. What a beautiful contrast to the bright green moss that covered most surfaces in the woods!
