Artist's Description
In Nevada's Valley Of Fire, the rocks are multicolored layers of sandstone that have been weathered and eroded into bizarre shapes. The hiking is difficult as you keep descending and climbing from one canyon and gully to the next. Spectacular and very alien landscapes abound for the photographer. When the rocks are wet or on an overcast day the day the colors are richer.
