I rose early at 5:30 AM to capture this spectacular early morning sunrise over the Pacific Ocean as seen from the seacliffs north of Kīlauea Lighthouse. The Kīlauea Lighthouse is located on Kīlauea Point on the island of Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi in the Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge. The large waves are breaking on the outer edge of the fringing reef.
