This is one of my landscape portraits of "The Basin" a famous natural pool in Franconia Notch, New Hampshire. The water is the most beautiful green color due to the contrasting sunlit shallows and the deep shaded areas under the sculpted granite ledges. The rock in the right foreground is called the "Heel Of The Old man Of The Mountains".
